New York, NY, January 18, 2012 – Starpoint Solutions, a leading provider of human capital and solutions, is proud to announce that this year it will celebrate its thirtieth anniversary.
Since its start in 1982, Starpoint has morphed from a three-man IT placement firm to become one of Manhattan’s largest privately held companies, with 700 employees, 11 offices nationwide, three development centers (New York, Moscow and Kiev), and revenues of nearly $90 million.
Throughout its 30-year history, Starpoint has played a key role in providing talent to Fortune 500 corporations – and recruiting and retaining its own employees.
Jeffrey Najarian, Founder, President and CEO, started as a sales representative at Setford-Shaw, a recruiting/placement firm for technology specialists. After only three years, Najarian’s stellar performance was rewarded with a partnership, and the firm became Setford-Shaw-Najarian.
Over the next 10 years, Najarian grew the business, added offerings, and transformed the firm into Transaction Information Systems (TIS). In 2001, TIS was renamed Starpoint Solutions.
Today, Najarian continues to drive Starpoint’s vision and culture. “My management team and employees are the people that made it happen. “We’re very proud and bullish for our future,” Najarian says.
