Challenge

A global science-based health care company with many prescription, consumer and animal health products, Schering-Plough discovers, develops, manufactures and markets advanced drug therapies to meet important medical needs.

TEMODAR® is used to treat certain cancerous brain tumors in adult patients (greater than 18 years of age) for whom the brain tumor has recurred following chemotherapy with certain drugs.

Schering wanted to update the existing TEMODAR.com Web site look and feel, add new content areas and redesign the site architecture into Schering-Plough’s Common Web Platform (CWP) standard.

Solution

For Schering-Plough’s brain tumor drug TEMODAR®, Starpoint:

• Completed a full site redesign
• Launched a narrated 3-d animated tour of the human brain
• Built an interactive treatment diary and dosage calculator
• A 40-second animation to show how TEMODAR works in the body
